Amici Roof Prism

Optical Prisms are precision-polished glass elements used to deviate, invert, reverse or displace a beam of light without introducing distortion. Plano Optics manufactures a range of prism geometries — including Schmidt, Amici Roof, Penta, Half Penta and Dove Prisms — for use in telescopes, periscopes, rangefinders, surveying instruments and laboratory optical setups.

Each prism is fabricated from BK-7 or UV Fused Silica to tight angular and surface tolerances, and can be supplied uncoated or with reflective/anti-reflective coatings depending on the application.
