Plate Beam Splitter

A Beam Splitter divides an incident beam of light into two separate beams — one reflected and one transmitted — at a defined ratio. Plano Optics manufactures both Plate and Cube Beam Splitters used in interferometers, laser systems, imaging setups and general optical instrumentation where a controlled split of light intensity is required.

Available in BK-7 and UV Fused Silica, our Beam Splitters are polished to tight flatness and parallelism tolerances, with a choice of uncoated or MgF2-coated surfaces and standard reflection/transmission ratios such as 50/50 and 70/30.
