Pillar Stand
The Precision Stand PHS has a fine linear movement in horizontal plane for the purpose of aligning the Alignment Telescope axis/LOS.
The Precision Horizontal Stand could be placed on a Honeycomb Table and clamped or could be placed on a flat platform.
A Flange (connecting 5&6) is provided to the base of the Precision Stand so that the PHS could be placed on Vertical Pillar stand. Along the axis of the flange the Telescope could be rotated (vertical axis rotation).
The Pillar stand has a provision to lift or lower the PHS using two lock nuts to the desired height for the Alignment Telescope axis – Line of Sight.
In case you require the PHS axis to be further lowered, you may remove the cross connector (5) and reverse the same and mount it again.
In the event to need to raise the height of the axis of the Alignment Telescope beyond the existing limit, you may add a shaft to the flange to suit the diameter of the cross connector.

Laser Alignment Aide
The Alignment Aids useful for fast coarse adjustment of an autocollimator and electronic autocollimator. They are particularly useful for alignment of distant and very small mirrors, polygons or prisms.
CCD Camera Attachment
This device includes standard C-Mount lenses which transfer the reticle image from the eyepiece on CCD/CMOS-array. The Camera Ad –
apter has a mechanical interface to C-Mount lens and a threaded eyepiece. The imaging optics
are interchangeable.
- CCD/CMOS-Camera-Adapter
- CCD/CMOS-Camera (standardly 1/2“monochrome.
On request other types) - TV-Monitor, monochrome, CCIR
Alignment Cube
Optical alignment cubes are used to monitor and qualify systems where critical optical alignment is necessary. Plano Optics offers standard and custom sized optical alignment prisms with precision angles in several glass types. For extreme temperature applications, materials such as Zerodur and fused silica are optimal choices due to their low thermal expansion coefficients.
Our optical alignment cubes are polished on five surfaces and coated with a durable protective aluminum mirror coating. Upon request, the base of the prisms may be bonded to custom mounts or outfitted with threaded bushings.
Precision Adjustable Mirror
The Plano Optics offering single side or both mirror surfaces polished and parallel to one second of arc, which make it compatible to sensitive autocollimators. Used to detect minute angular changes in gyro rate tables, rotary tables, etc. and to calibrate surface plates, angle blocks, precision squares and optical elements. It comes in its factory wooden case.
Calibration Wedge
Just two steps are necessary after the optical axis of a mirror and autocollimator are established at 90 degrees to the work surface:
- Interpose the D-623 Calibration Wedge between the mirror and the instrument along the optical axis;
- Observe the angular deviation indicated by the autocollimator – which should be identical to the calibrated angle of the wedge.

Flatness Gauge
A flatness gage is a digital dial indicator type instrument used to measure lap plate flatness. It consists of a gauge body with two contact feet at one end and one vertically adjustable foot at the opposite end that can be adjustable from 100 mm to 250 mm. These three points serve as the reference plane (geometry defines a plane by three points) and a vertical stylus dial indicator measures the lap plates positive or negative deviation from the reference plane. This instrument is very convenient to use and provides a measurement value via the dial indicator. The resolution of the indicator is 1 micron.
